A follow-up for "graduates" of Assabet After Dark's Violin/Fiddle and Mandolin for Beginners class, as well as any other beginning player. This group is just an idea at this point, but hopefully it will become an way for us to practice together, learn new techniques and songs, and help each other improve.

The Freedom Trail Band is an amateur concert and marching band serving the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered communities of the greater Boston area. Our most visible performances are as a marching band at gay pride parades throughout New England. In the fall, winter, and early spring, we perform for the public and for local community groups.   We'd love to have new band members!
