LACMP is a place for adult musicians (particularly string players) to play in small musical ensembles. All levels are welcome from beginner to professional.  Most of the meet ups are free, but some are classes for which we charge tuition. Most meet ups take place at the Metzler Violin Shop.

It's difficult to find musicians in the Islamic communities of southern California due to various societal pressures - religious or cultural. This group is intended to help create a space for musicians who promote the beauty of Music in all aspects of life - including religion. Hopefully we can collaborate and deliver these harmonies to the community at large.

The purpose of this group is to provide an opportunity for players  in Orange County, of varying levels of experience, to play various combinations of chamber music, largely depending on the instruments and level of members who join. ChannelAire is a women's chorus that sings today's barbershop harmony which has been described by many musicians as the "black belt of acapella singing". This amazing chorus of amateur singers has won multiple championships in their region and competed internationally consistently placing in the top 20 female choruses in the world. We have full PA, keyboard and amp. Sound is run by a pro engineer. Just come and plug in and play. If you don't have a pick up on your guitar we can mic both the guitar and your voice.
